Chapter 73: Humble yourself
Another kick was coming for him, this time for his ribcage.
He crossed his arms before his chest, then, he covered the crossed hands quickly with his heavy wings in a defensive form, but the incoming round kick didn't even consider its existence.
The wings instantly split apart, thousands of furs hurling up all around, then, Johan's arms—every bone in his arms—instantly shattered to powder on just a little graze of Radhaan's leg, covered perfectly in the red soft fabric of his pants.
Just as Radhaan was about to launch Johan like a cannon again, Johan even embracing himself for the impact, the leg paused—just a single centimeter away, like there was an invisible, indestructible barrier between him and Radhaan.
Johan quickly turned around, nodding in a thankful gesture toward the tired young face of Sebastian. "You always come when needed the most... I thought I was going to be a dodgeball for a while." Johan chuckled.
He was finally understanding the true horror of Radhaan—light speed, even at just 25%, was terrifyingly fast, and with his slower perception of time being a cherry on top.
Even though Johan could see it, there was no time to react. But, to be fair, Johan actually wasn't trying his best to escape—there was no way he could be killed from normal punches or kicks—so he was just testing Radhaan's real power.
'And now that I think about it, I was right to do so. I only read in theory how fast light is, and it being just 25% made me underestimate the fact that it was 25% of 299,792,458 m/s. It's still faster than anything developed back home...' Johan's whole body shook. 'My life certainly changed after I transmigrated. Even though it sucked... it was fun.'
The only downside of understanding this fact was that it was just embarrassing to be ragged around like this, but... Johan had long given up on something like shame.
