Chapter 132: Woke Up the Whole Forest
Liora stared at the glove for a long moment, her gaze unreadable. Her mind swirled with countless thoughts. The strange technology... the overwhelming pressure it emitted and the unknown origin. Everything about it screamed danger and power.
She clenched her fist slowly, the metal plates adjusting once again with a faint hiss, and then looked up.
A thick tree stood a few meters ahead. Roughly ten meters tall. Its trunk was wider than a man’s arms could wrap around. Just a normal tree that stood amongst the countless trees of the misty forest. But to Liora, it was enough for a small test.
Her lips curled into a sweet smile.
"Let’s see what you can do."
With no hesitation, she took a deep breath, pulled back her fist, and slammed it forward with all her strength.
BOOM!
The forest erupted.
A thunderous shockwave blasted through the mist as the tree flew into the sky like a cannonball. It didn’t just fall, it actually soared. And it didn’t go alone.
Dozens of trees behind it were uprooted, shredded, and thrown aside. Leaves exploded in all directions like a storm of blades. The ground trembled violently. And a long, clear path opened through the forest, as if a giant invisible dragon had surged through it.
Liora stood there stunned and completely frozen.
