Chapter 342
"How is me laying with you going to help change the room, Killian? Have I been tricked? Did I let you in here to help me only to lay in bed with you?" Amelia asked.
She didn’t mind it since she missed being able to have a peaceful moment with Killian like this since they came to this castle. Amelia didn’t have to run off to do something or worry about someone. The north was more peaceful even with all the demons inside it and she missed that feeling.
"It is better for you to lay around and think about how you want to change the room instead of standing around. From here, you have a good view of the room and you won’t have to keep turning around. From here, I can see that we should have a mirror-"
"It is not going to happen," Amelia said, turning down the idea of the mirror once more. "What if it were to suddenly drop while we are sleeping? As skilled as you are, I fear there might come a time when you won’t be able to catch it in time."
"You are no fun, Amelia. If you would only listen to me, we could have so much more fun with our intimacy. Where are we going to have the child resting when it arrives? I want it to be close by," said Killian.
"There is normally a room picked for the prince or princess to be cared for by maids and a wet nurse so the king and queen aren’t pulled away from their duties. My mother took care of everything concerning me so I would like to do the same. Rather than a space to hold my dresses, we should make it the room for our child to use. We will be nearby to take care of them," Amelia replied.
It solved her question of which room to pick for their child.
"There is no need for anyone but us to care for our child. I will not let just anyone be near my offspring," Killian said as he did not trust the humans here. He hardly trusts most of the demons around them. The child only needed its mother and father to care for its needs.
"I agree that we shouldn’t let just anyone care for our child, but we will not always be free to care for them. Tending to two lands will take our time and there is no telling if you will ever need to leave the kingdom to deal with trouble. We have to find more people we can trust. There is already Gina and I have grown to trust Edith. We can find others to trust," Amelia said, certain of it.
