Chapter 341
"The things I do for the two of you. I had to make a deal with my husband to return to the underworld as soon as I finish eating your father’s soul. I think that I deserve to have two children named after me since I don’t want to go down to the underworld so soon. Not unless Amelia will be visiting me," Lilith said, reaching out to hold Amelia’s hand, but Killian blocked her.
Lilith liked it better when he was not in the castle during the day since he ruined her time with Amelia. She didn’t have a friend like Amelia for a long time so she had to enjoy every second of it to make up for what she missed in her previous life.
"She’s not going anywhere in her state," Killian said, standing in front of Amelia to block Lilith from getting to her and putting ideas in Amelia’s head. She was not going in the underworld until the child was born and it was time to turn her into a demon.
Hearing that Lilith had to go back to the underworld was the best news he heard all day.
"I don’t really like the word state. I am not different from how I was weeks ago. I am only pregnant. I am sorry to hear that you need to leave, but it must be that Lucifer misses you so he is taking advantage of this opportunity to have you beside him. Hopefully, you won’t have to stay there for a long time since I will miss-"
"Amelia!" Lilith exclaimed, trying to get past Killian to hug her friend. "You can’t say that and then expect me to go so easily. I am going to spend some time with Lucifer to stop him from missing me and then I will be back as soon as I can. We should have another night to ourselves without our husbands present. I will bring you back lots of souls for you to eat."
"Killian," Amelia said, tapping his arm. "Please let her get by so I can hug her goodbye. She did us a favour and she is my friend. I want to give her a proper goodbye."
"Unfortunately," Killian muttered, getting out of the way so the two of them could hug. He hoped that Lilith was leaving the second she was done with Richard and would not try to prolong her departure.
This was not what he expected when he thought about Lilith and Amelia meeting. For Lilith to be so obsessed with Amelia and want to be near her all the time.
