Chapter 91
"I’m doing a perfectly good job taking care of the princess while she sits on her ass and eats the cake the baker sends to the castle for the royals. Just try me one more time and I will inform someone of you eating something that is not meant for you. Amelia’s leaving so I should give that woman a good curse when I am..." Gina’s rant came to a halt as she found that a northerner was right in front of her. ’He’s going to kill me,’ she thought.
"Interesting words for a lady like yourself," Alastor said as he approached Gina. She wasn’t as good-looking as many of the demons he had been with or even some of the human women he saw here but she would have to do it for now.
"Wait," Gina started to recognize who he was. "You are by Killian Bune’s side a lot. You are like his right-hand man."
"The one he rarely listens to," Alastor replied.
"Is there something I can do for you? Are you looking for your king?" Gina asked. She was well aware that neither Amelia nor Killian were in the castle right now.
"No. I am looking for a way to pass time."
Gina looked him up and down then took a step back. "Sir, I am not a whore. I am a maid," she pointed at her attire. "There are many places for you to go past the time but you surely won’t be doing it with me. Good night."
"I never said I wanted to sleep with you," Alastor said just as she was about to walk past him. "You assumed that on your own. You are far from being my type."
Gian knew she shouldn’t feel offended but she did. She was far from being ugly so much that a northerner wouldn’t want her. "You’re just trying to insult me. Why on earth wouldn’t I be your type? Besides the princess, I find myself to be the prettiest girl here."
