Chapter 441: Two on One
The Arena Master’s call ended with Nikolai putting down his phone with a long sigh. He watched Ryan with bright red cheeks, speaking on the phone to his Lamia Queen on the other side of the room.
Before he realised, Leona slipped into the room and sat beside him with a fresh pot of coffee and some sweet snacks and pastries from the bakery downstairs. "I thought you might need a boost, honey."
"Leona, what would I do without you?"
She huffed and elbowed him, "You’d just run to Anya or another woman, right?"
"Haha..." She knew Nikolai too well, and he could only laugh nervously, shifting his hips to lean closer to his jealous wife. "No way, you’re my only maid wife."
"Hmmmmph~ well, you’re just lucky I am a foolish woman who loves her master."
"Oh, I am, but don’t forget a loving husband who worships his head maid."
"You’re so corny!" Leona huffed while placing her head against his shoulder. "What did they want from you?" Her tail slapped his thigh, and the orange fluff then stroked his leg.
"Well..." Nikolai brushed her smooth cheek, showing a bitter smile. "I will be fighting a two on one match tonight, for tripple the pay and boost in the rankings."
"...Eh? Two on one... but, honey!?"
"Shhh," he pressed his finger against her soft lips. "It’ll be fine, they are both Mature fighters. I have no choice but to take the fight." He squshied her lips, the sticky sensation from her gloss smearing as she sucked on the tip of his thumb. The hot breath made his chest pound.
"Nikolai, I am worried..." Leona muttered with a sulking tone, taking another sip from her latte and pouting.
