Chapter 440: The Lamia’s Kiss
Nikolai hurried Ryan into the medical room, where a variety of creams and treatments were available. He staggered, his legs lacked power, and he fell against Nikolai’s arm. "Ryan, what happened?" The state of his body wasn’t normal.
Bruises, bites, and deep, swollen red marks covered him.
He arrived with ripped clothes and drenched in sweat...
Ryan shuddered as he felt his strength leaving his body. "N-Niko..." His pale face twisted as he almost vomited. "Women... are scary..." He then slumped into the leather seat as Nikolai started to examine his friend.
"Did she beat you?"
"..." Ryan remained silent, but the red of his cheeks made Nikolai freeze.
Did she sleep with him!?
"She... is... so much fun..." Ryan coughed and wheezed as he struggled to breathe... "She... said I am not enough... for her...and yet."
His words became more and more confusing as Nikolai rubbed a salve across Ryan’s body.
