Chapter 50: Took a bite
“The Ziyuan True Person has arrived.”
With a disciple’s light call, everyone turned their gaze to the white-clothed woman approaching through the sky. The Ziyuan True Person, in a plain white Taoist robe, untouched by dust, saw Luo Yueguan sitting on the cliffside watching the sunset and sat down beside her.
“Would you actually come here to watch these juniors?” Ziyuan’s voice carried a hint of surprise.
“I came to ask you for a pot of wine,” Luo Yueguan’s eyes reflected the light and shadow of the setting sun.
She and Ziyuan were naturally acquainted, having been Senior Sister and Junior Sister in the same sect. They had come a long way and naturally had a good relationship. Hearing Luo Yueguan’s words, Ziyuan just laughed, “I’ve already promised to give away four pots of wine, keeping one for myself. If you want to taste it, I can share half a cup with you.”
“Half a cup is enough for who?” Luo Yueguan glanced at her reproachfully, “Just watch, later all those pots of wine will end up in my courtyard.”
“Oh?” Ziyuan followed Luo Yueguan’s gaze and saw Jiang Huai painting Luo Qingyu.
She vaguely remembered Jiang Huai and had heard the rumors about Luo Yueguan personally calling off the engagement a few days ago.
Curious, she asked, “Didn’t you call off the engagement?”
“It’s not really calling off the engagement, it’s complicated to explain, I’ll tell you later,” Luo Yueguan replied softly.
Out of curiosity, Ziyuan used her spiritual sense to glance at Jiang Huai’s painting and was stunned for a moment.
