The next day, early morning.
Jiang Huai slowly opened his eyes.
He woke up because someone had opened the curtains, letting light stream in. Jiang Huai sat up groggily and saw Luo Yueguan in a purple dress tidying up the clothes on the table. She was holding a pair of black lace panties, seemingly examining them closely.
Jiang Huai’s face darkened.
What the hell does this mean?
Noticing Jiang Huai getting up, Luo Yueguan’s expression remained as calm as ever. She neatly put her lingerie back in the wardrobe. “I didn’t bring noodles, so dumplings will have to do,” Jiang Huai replied grumpily, getting out of bed and starting to dress.
After getting dressed, he went to the kitchen to cook dumplings.
Luo Yueguan picked up a dumpling with her chopsticks, took a delicate bite, and soon recognized the filling, “The emerald spirit fish from Yunze Lake?”
