Chapter 527: Mouth to Mouth
The Five Kage Summit proceeded as usual.
The Kage from the Five Great Villages, along with their respective bodyguards, set off towards the Land of Iron.
From Konoha, the group led by the interim Sixth Hokage, Danzo, also departed.
There were a total of eight people, including Danzo and his two bodyguards, as well as Team 7—Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato.
Team 7 walked ahead as scouts, while Danzo and his two bodyguards followed behind.
"So annoying, why do we have to be Danzo's bodyguards?" Sakura grumbled softly.
"Danzo-sama is the Hokage now. We can't refuse his orders," Yamato said, though he was also uncomfortable but forced to obey out of respect for the Hokage's position.
Actually, as long as the Hokage was strong enough, their power in the village was theoretically very high.
Although Danzo didn't yet have enough authority, at least for a task like this, Team 7 had no right to refuse.
"Maybe he wants to keep a close eye on Naruto?" Kakashi also whispered.
"Naruto is the hero who saved the village! Why is he like this?"
