On the second morning of the camp, we, the Astronomy Club, had finished our breakfast and were walking down the hallway together.
“The breakfast was delicious! Now, where shall we start our city exploration until evening?”
“Ai, about that…”
“What’s wrong, Yousuke? Why the gloomy face?”
“I might not be up for walking around the city today.”
“Huh?”
Ai-san looked as surprised as if she was a pigeon shot with a pea-shooter. (TN: Proverb, a look of shock, staring with wide eyes and an open mouth.)
“Um, I might also have a hard time walking around the city all afternoon.”
“I’d rather not move around too much until the summer festival.”
“What, you two as well? What happened all of a sudden?”
“It hurts.”
