Shimizu-san and the Summer Night Sky 3
(What should I do, I can’t sleep.)
In the dimly lit room with the lights turned off, I was wide awake.
I glanced at Yousuke-san. He must have been very tired, as he was quietly breathing in sleep, not even ten minutes after getting into his futon.
『Tomorrow, I’m going to confess my love to Ai, so please somehow get me some time alone with her』
Yousuke-san’s earlier words replayed in my head.
I was really surprised because I hadn’t thought he planned to confess during the training camp.
Yousuke-san said he decided to tell me at the last minute because he thought Ai-san might notice if he spoke about it beforehand.
(Even so, a confession…)
My heart wouldn’t stop pounding. At this rate, I wouldn’t be able to sleep and it would affect me tomorrow.
To cool my head, I decided to go outside.
Once outside, the night sky was filled with countless shining stars. As I looked up at the sky, I heard voices coming from somewhere.
