Before the words were finished, an expression of surprise appeared: "Hey, what happened to your chin?"
"It’s nothing, a razor nicked it."

"Aren’t you imagining too! Just thinking he has a girlfriend breaks my heart!"

The two nurses pushed the trolley and quickly walked away.
Mia Ginger lagged behind, her cheeks flushed red. She instinctively reached out to touch her face.
Feeling uneasy.
She lowered her eyes to glance at her autumn-style high-waist, long-sleeve dress, feeling even more uncomfortable. Then she stretched a leg to look at the pure black leggings; she felt even more extremely awkward.
Her usual clothing style was rather casual, most commonly wearing shirts and jeans.

The clothes sent by Kari Ward were distinctly a sweet princess style.
Form-fitting long sleeves, with a ruffled collar turned outwards, the dress was a light pink underlayer with a complex overlay of white floral patterns. The bodice was tight, the hem formed natural pleats, twirling almost seemed to create waves.
Paired with black leggings and small round-toed, chunky-heeled leather shoes, it looked exquisite.
As if she’d specifically dressed up for a while.
Mia Ginger was overthinking, suddenly feeling a bit nervous.

She dawdled outside Koa Jackson’s office.
Her phone had been taken as evidence, so she couldn’t call Koa Jackson ahead of time.
Noticing no patients were waiting outside, she then gently knocked the door twice with a clenched fist.
"Come in."
Koa Jackson’s clear and steady voice came through.
Mia Ginger pushed the door ajar, poked her head in for a glance.
"Why are you here?" Koa Jackson asked in surprise, raising his wrist to look at the watch, then stood up and began undoing the buttons of his white coat.
"I can’t sleep anyway."
Mia Ginger closed the door, stepped inside, and sat on the chair beside, looking at him.
"What do you want to eat?" Koa Jackson removed his coat, went to the sink to wash his hands, and asked without turning his head.
"Anything."
"Seems you’re not hungry yet." Koa Jackson dried his hands, his gaze gentle.
Mia Ginger stared at him eagerly for a while, but seeing that he didn’t mention her dress from start to finish, she felt a bit frustrated. She held his fingers and asked, "Brother Jackson, don’t you think there’s something different about me today?"
"Hmm?" Koa Jackson lowered his gaze at her for a moment, earnestly said, "What’s different?"
"..." Mia Ginger pouted, saying nothing.
Above her, Koa Jackson let out a very pleasant low chuckle, "Are you talking about the dress?"
