Chapter 310 - 316 Zuri Ginger Collapses (2)
Mia Ginger rubbed her hands together, "Where’s the medical kit? There’s bleeding, so we should put a band-aid on."
"No need."
Before Koa Jackson finished speaking, Mia Ginger turned her head and went straight to the living room to look.
Koa Jackson didn’t bother with her, cleaned up himself, and put on a suit jacket before leaving the bedroom.
Mia Ginger found a band-aid and waited for him.
Seeing him come out, she quickly ran over and stammered, "I found a band-aid, let me put it on for you."
"I said there’s no need."
"It’s still bleeding!" As Mia Ginger spoke, she promptly tore open the band-aid and tiptoed closer to him.
Koa Jackson had no choice but to bend down, allowing her to properly place a band-aid on his chin.
"There, all done."
Mia Ginger’s words landed as she planted a kiss on his slightly cool chin.
Koa Jackson was slightly stunned, looking at her with a low chuckle, feeling a bit reluctant, and reminded, "Take a nap first. Later, I’ll have someone send clothes up, and after work, we’ll go out to eat... Are you hungry now?"
"Not hungry," Mia Ginger replied with a gentle smile.
"Then we’ll eat after work." Koa Jackson ruffled her hair, changed his shoes, and left.
Quickly left the neighborhood.
Took out his phone and found Caiden Ward’s number.
Dialed directly.
Before Koa could speak, Caiden Ward teased, "Hey, is the sun rising from the west today, how do you have time to call me? Not working?"
"Where are you?" Koa Jackson completely ignored his long teasing comment.
"Where else? At the company."
"Hmm," Koa paused for a moment, then spoke in a calm voice, "Mia Ginger is at the Grand Era Garden outside our hospital. I’ll send you the exact address later, have the store clerks from a nearby mall send a few sets of this season’s women’s clothes to her."
"Huh?! Cousin, say that again!"
"..." Koa Jackson asked in return, "Did you not hear clearly?"
"I heard it, it’s just surprising." Caiden Ward laughed and joked, "Your progress seems awfully fast."
"..."
"I must say, that girl is so slender. Even if you do something, take it easy, there’s no need to tear the clothes, it’s too rough."
"Caiden Ward."
"Eh?"
"You’re overthinking it." As Koa Jackson finished his sentence, intending to hang up, he suddenly remembered something, switched his tone, and asked, "What did you say to Mia Ginger yesterday?"
"What?!"
"What did you say?"
"Oh oh." Caiden Ward suddenly realized, "Didn’t say much, just mentioned you always go on blind dates. Hey, the little girl seemed jealous, isn’t that just great for advancing feelings? Where else would you find such a good cousin like me..."
Without waiting for him to finish, Koa Jackson hung up the phone directly.
He rubbed his forehead with his hand.
Sent the address to Caiden Ward and put his phone away again.
After walking a few steps, his fingers touched the band-aid on his chin, considering tearing it off.
It was just a minor cut from the razor, nothing much.
The girl stubbornly put on a band-aid; it looked pretty odd, of course.
His fingers pressed against it, about to tear it off, then suddenly remembered the girl’s kiss just now.
They’re meeting for lunch soon.
Would she be upset if she saw he took off the band-aid?
In a rare moment of indecision, Koa Jackson hesitated for a while, then decided not to remove it, simply heading towards the hospital.
As he arrived at the hospital entrance, the grandfather with an armband happily said, "Dr. Jackson didn’t drive today..."
