"But it hurts." Meihua sobbed.
"Of course it hurts...." Zhilan responded.
Mei Mei pinched her before she could add something stupid and she cut in. "We know and we love you which is why we are willing to let you shatter our eardrums. But honey, you have mascara on your elbows and in your neck. Your face is fatter than a puffy fish, and you apparently texted ’I STILL LOVE YOU’ to your butler."
Zhilan tried not snigger at that one.
"Also she has not showered since we left Sea city." Taiyuan pitched in.
Mei Mei frowned. "Oh honey, it’s time to shower. No wonder my pets are avoiding you. Now you are a beautiful woman and you will heal and find a new man. If I could survive a cheating husband that abused me emotionally, attempted to murder me and humiliated me in front of cameras while laying the blame for our marital problems at my feet, you can also survive an ordinary drama free heartbreak."
Meihua started to calm down. "Yes, yes, yes, you are right. At least I was not shoved down by someone I loved while he held hands with his mistress. You are worse than me. I feel so much better now."
