Chapter 136: Unfaithful woman!
That doesn’t sound right, you cannot kidnap a kidnapped person. Or could you? Mei Mei wondered. But she had no plans to kidnap Han Rui, she was simply going to offer him a job.
"Do you have something to wake him up? Why has he been sleeping for so long?" She asked the system. "Oh God, is he dead!" She further asked with dread with her voice.
She had not checked his pulse when she found him and he had not moved since C4 put him in the car--not even made a sound.
"By the way? How did you make the things in the trunk vanish like that? I have been very curious about that?" Her mind trailed to something else because she was thinking back to the moment when she rescued him from the car trunk. "No_no_no." She slapped the side of her head lightly. "Is he alive?"
She pushed a button that rotated the chair completely and she got a good look at Han Rui. "Oh crap!" She gasped softly upon seeing all the contents of the gym bag which she had accidentally thrown on top of him. Most of the smelly clothes had ended up on his face.
"Sorry, sorry." she muttered as she retrieved them one by one, throwing them out of the window.
As soon as the stinky stocks touched the ground, Tangning’s dog that was returning from an afternoon visit to the a neighbor’s female dog picked them up and run off with them.
Mei Mei meanwhile was a little bit frozen in the car and she was smiling nervously. Han Rui was not dead, he was alive and his eyes were open. They were glaring at her fiercely like a storm-battered flame refusing to die out, its embers crackling defiantly against the howling wind.
"I know what you are thinking." Mei Mei started, moving her hands towards him such that she could help him remove the collar around his neck. "I am not the one that kidnapped you. I saw a car stopping by the side of the road. A man got out of it and he threw you to the ground. I took one look at you and assumed that you were in some kind of trouble so I rescued you. I didn’t know if I should take you to the hospital or police because I have no idea what kind of trouble you are in."
