It’s been a week since Alanis resigned from being the president of Hamilton giving everything to his wife. The board of directors has voted and we’re ready to crown the new president to the public. He stood by the balcony watching his mother step inside her car with hurried steps as she left the estate with her maid.
He wondered where they were going this time. Alanis, stepped back into his bedroom to see his wife missing from the room. The water wasn’t running to show she wasn’t in the bathroom either, so where could she be?
He picked up his robe and stepped out of his room.
"Are you sure these will do Harlow?" Grandma Hamilton asked her granddaughter-in-law. She seems to be the happiest person in the room since her daughter-in-law arrived. She was more than ready to make Harlow feel so welcome and make this life better than the last.
"These jewels are beautiful," Harlow said. They looked so familiar, almost like her new designs, but she hadn’t even started her company yet. She only made these designs before her father destroyed everything she had. Did Richard and the rest betray her by selling her designs?
"Yes, they’re your father’s new designs the whole town is talking about." Harlow frowned. Frank has stolen her designs again. It must have been the time he seized everything she had. He doesn’t have much power anymore.
