Chapter 126: APOLOGY
Once in the dining room, both Charlotte and Harlow took their seats and sat on them. Charlotte looked so happy seeing her granddaughter finally back at the Villa. Her family was getting complete again.
"I’ll send Elisa over so that we can discuss the details of the gala." Harlow nodded picking her tea cup as she took a sip of the tea.
Grandma Hamilton smiled as she watched Harlow eat. She loved to watch both Harlow and Alex eat in her Villa in the past. They made the poor old woman hungry, and we would eat with them too.
After a while Alanis arrived on the table, still in his robe. It’s almost as if he was ready to embarrass Harlow today. Even if she had covered his body protectively beneath the robe, Alanis had found a way to shift one side of the robe, revealing the marks on his shoulder and neck.
As he sat on the table, a knowing smile tugged the corner of his lips. Harlow looked up at him and wondered why he was smiling, then her eyes trailed down to his body and her eyes went wide. Alanis is really ready to end her life today.
This is a mistake she would never make again. She would make sure she’s no longer close to this man in any way, or get drunk to act foolish again.
"Grandson, what’s that on your skin?" Charlotte asked narrowing her eyes at the marks. Harlow’s face drained of any color. Aren’t old people meant to have poor eyesight, how does this woman still see so clearly?
"Oh, these?" Alanis asked, his eyes shifting to his wife who deviated her gaze immediately.
"What would I say, Grandma? I love with a vampire." He shrugged.
