"Elisa!!" Frank called the moment he walked into the mansion. He had just returned from the hospital after getting the information about Nathan Eagle being dead. The doctor showed him the CCTV footage of his wife killing the man.
That stupid woman, she didn’t even try to hide what she had done. What if the doctor had not been sensible enough to inform him and not the police, they would have been in trouble now.
"You know you don’t have to shout Frank. I have ears, I heard the first call."
"What did you do with Nathan Elisa?" Frank asked.
"I did what every mother would do since you clearly cannot do it." She said nonchalantly. Rather than making that nobody disappear once and for all, Frank was willing to sell her child to that fool. A nobody she had wanted Harlow to be married to.
Nathan Eagle, even if rich, wasn’t only just an old man, people in the high society knew he was a stupid man wealthy families used for their dirty work. That’s the real reason Elisa had wanted him for Harlow, the world would never stop laughing at her if she had married a nobody.
