Chapter 33 – Run
Alex’s gaze lingered for a long while, giving Aiden hope. "Alas, did you find her?"
Alex had been here ever since his contacts informed him that the girl he was looking for had been trafficked.
Most nights, he would be in these illegal clubs to check through the girls they had, hoping to find the girl that fit the description, yet there was no hope.
Alex did not respond immediately; Aiden noticed his gaze fixed on one particular girl.
It seemed like forever until the host was about to begin the auction before he spoke. "Buy number one and let’s ask her a few questions."
"Are you sure about this?" Aiden asked his gaze on the girl who looked more like trouble.
Not every girl sold in these kinds of auctions was innocent, and they both knew it.
"No, but it’s worth trying. And get me some vodka. Everything here is so nauseating," Alex frowned, his voice filled with annoyance.
He never liked such clubs but had to endure it just to find that woman.
"On it," Aiden said, knowing which part of the request was his.
Ike went to the car to bring them vodka since they couldn’t trust the drinks sold in these kinds of places.
