Chapter 18 - 17 - Motivational Speech
The Witch used her magic control to play flashbacks of my memories during the Test Dungeon.
In the flashback shown to all the students of this Special High School, I felt an incredible sense of shame. It was like my shame was being exposed by the students who would later become my classmates at this Special High School.
The flashback showed me making a negotiation agreement with a weak Queen Ant but had an army of ants that were very loyal to her.
What I did was a form of self-defense from a weak person who did not want to create a dispute that ended in a bloody war.
As a Test Dungeon used to measure the basic ability level for prospective Special High School students, I showed a diplomatic ability that could occur between humans and the Queen Ant.
In general, this diplomatic technique cannot be done in ordinary Dungeons.
However, because the Test Dungeon I went through had a realistic level of difficulty. So diplomacy that utilized the Queen Ant and its ant army could occur.
In that flashback, I showed a tactical skill where diplomacy was in progress, and the journey to conquer each floor of the Dungeon was carried out by killing weak enemies like goblins or kobolds that are humanoid in form.
Killing them directly feels very easy, but it is much easier by relying on ant soldiers who are able to work under pressure like office workers who are being chased by deadlines.
The diplomacy that I did was to bring the Queen Ant to kill the ruler of the tenth floor which is inhabited by a strong Dungeon floor Boss. With the freedom in the simulation provided by the Test Dungeon, I can do leveling in the Test Dungeon with the Queen Ant.
In addition to the diplomacy techniques that I have shown, I provide other tactics by providing buffs in the form of long-range support attacks that make the Queen Ant and her ant troops successfully defeat the tenth-floor Boss.
