Chapter 17 - 16 - Welcoming Ceremony
The Special High School Hall became dark after all the students sat down in their respective seats.
As one of the students who is part of the S-class candidate, I tried to hold back the strange gazes from my prospective classmates after sitting in the corner with the Yggdrasil Advent Idol group.
In the darkness of the Special High School Hall, a light suddenly appeared and showed someone quite famous from various parts of the other world that is connected to the earth.
They are Wizards and Witches who are famous for their abilities to the point of being called "Sages From Another World" by the civilians on this earth. Their abilities are too great that people on earth have to race against time to catch up on their magical abilities after the earth was contaminated with a source of magical energy.
There are ten Wizards and ten Witches who will be the supervisors of this Special High School because of the variety of students who come from various races.
"Umm... Test... Test... Can you hear me?"
When the entire Special High School Hall became silent, a voice echoed throughout the room using a magic shockwave. Hearing that loud voice, my ears rang non-stop as if I had sinusitis.
"First of all, I would like to welcome the new year students who have been accepted into this Special High School after passing several small tests from us."
"Some tests may seem easy and difficult for some people. For example, the new year students this time who have the potential to become S-class in the future!"
When the New Year's welcoming event had begun, I had to endure the discomfort after not being used to being exposed to magic shockwaves for a long time.
Unlike people from other worlds who are used to magic energy, my body is so slow in adapting to magic that it makes my body like an allergy to magic energy.
