Chapter 384: BOND BETWEEN US
CONRI DOLF’S POV
After I picked up Aurora and Cadman at the airport, I immediately knew that they were mated by the way they smelled of each other. I held back a smile and wanted to surprise Lucian and wondered how shocked he would be when he sensed their mating bond. Once the blood scroll powers went into Lucian, I felt the Ratban link strengthen and Adora seemed pleased with the powers that merged in our mind link. But I could sense that Lucian held back and planned to ask him once we were alone.
"Thank you, Uncle Cadman," Lucian spoke up as we sat down for a late dinner by the poach next to the beach.
"Most welcome Lucian. This is the most I can do for you. You saved my life, and you are family. This blood scroll will be safe with you. "Uncle Cadman responded.
"Exactly. We have so much to do within the year you will be away "Aurora nodded.
"I hope nothing happens and the Golden Shifter pack remains safe," I spoke.
We chatted for hours and then Aurora and Uncle Cadman went to bed. Lucian had been experiencing insomnia and spent most of the late house reading but today he was asleep the minute he hit the bed.
I tucked him and went back to the kitchen and found Uncle Cadman doing the dishes.
"I thought you went to bed?" I spoke up and he turned around in surprise.
"Aurora is asleep, and I was hoping to get an opportunity to have a word with you "Uncle Cadman responded and then turned back to do the dishes. I moved to the sink next to him and then we got busy. Once done, we dried the dishes in silence and thereafter settled by the poach over a few beers.
"What are your worries?" I spoke up when I felt that Uncle Cadman was holding back.
