Chapter 383: A TRIP TO ATTU ISLAND
Spending the night with Aurora was not in my wildest dreams. I had resigned to spending my lifeguarding Mount Chugach and being loyal to the mountain God. I thanked the moon god and was happy that fate had chosen to give me Aurora as my mate. The years I had spent in Chugach Mountain paid off. I had been hurt when Mrs. Freki passed away and Chugach prison was the best place to hide and recuperate. That is how the mountain god found me and even showed me the true powers of the Tizheruk. He had already foreseen that Conri Dolf would be the Alpha and change the Golden Shifter pack. But to find out that Conri was Lucian Freki’s mate was the happiest news I had gotten from the guards in Chugach prison.
Everything that happened since I got off the mountain and gave Lucian his mother’s powers back was destined. I had fulfilled my mission and gone back to Chugach prison to guard the home of the mountain god. The family had grown and Commander Abram’s Battalion joined in. To have a family in the Golden Shifter pack made everything worthwhile.
I sat on the balcony of Aurora’s house and stared at the night sky and the ocean waves as the breeze hit my face. I had missed the view since I had spent time recuperating after handing over Lucian his mother’s power.
" I can tell you missed this view "Aurora’s voice reached my ears as she walked to the balcony and placed herself on my lap. Her beautiful hair flew behind her and she seemed so relaxed and carefree.
" I had," I nodded. " Even the scent of the ocean called to me. "
" You are always a sentimental fool, " Aurora chuckled.
"I see nothing wrong with being sentimental" I rubbed her back and she leaned on my shoulder as she crossed her legs and got comfortable in my arms.
" I have a question for you," Aurora said.
" What is it?" I responded.
" How do you plan on getting the blood scroll out of Judy ?" I asked.
Aurora sat up and asked, " How did you know ?"
