Chapter 359: IN DEEP TROUBLE

We had enough rest and got back to work keeping busy. With the expansion of Due corporation, we held countless meetings with the county council hall and all the industrial companies that had factories in Sitka. Zeeb and Anisha were busy handling the franchise plus the other branches in Europe. Zeeb suggested that we need to hire more managers to run the company after the expansion.
" There is no need, " Anisha retorted.
" We almost dropped to our feet when you weren’t here. We need additional managers and you need to settle down" Zeeb scolded her.
" Yes boss " She blushed with embarrassment knowing well that Zeeb wanted to have a baby.
" With the expansion and franchise, we shall have different managers to run the businesses. Chugach needs to flourish and expand. We need modern tech to be installed in all houses. An upgrade in the tech in Chugach is the ultimate goal of Due Corporation. "
" Yes, Ceo Lucian Freki " Zeeb piped.
It was hours later when Godmother called me and asked me to go and visit her.
" Just go. We got everything under control " Zeeb and Anisha chased me from the office. I rushed out of Due Corporation and the new driver was waiting for me. I leaned back on the seat and closed my eyes to rest for a while and
I left Siri and hailed a cab. Along the way, I felt a sudden mind attack and then my vision blurred. The scent reminded me of Aipaloovik’s scent and Freki struggled with my power and felt weak as my body slammed on the back seat floor. I felt myself slipping into unconsciousness and yelled for Conri through our mind link before darkness engulfed me.
When I came to it, I felt pain raze through my body and a moan escaped my mouth. I opened my eyes, trying to understand where I was. The room I was in was large, too large to be an actual room, the floor cold, unsteady, shifting as my eyes remained blurry.
