Chapter 358: MRS HEMMINGS CONCERNS
ASPENS POV
Ma was back in Chugach with Elder Zaya when she collapsed and the pack doctor diagnosed her with bone corroding disease. Thankfully, Lucian, Conri, and Tizheruk had moved swiftly and used the power of Freki blood, the Serpent sea god, and the King of Wolves to heal her.
Hence days later when Elder Zaya was up and about, Ma summoned Commander Abram, Jerusha, Oliver, and home. Commander Abram suggested that we needed to invite Ma over to our house. Hence he sent the car to pick up Ma, Keith, Addison, and Elder Zaya at our new house.
Once they arrived I could feel the tension that radiated from Commander Abram’s body as he moved to stand before me in a protective stance I noted that Ma and Addison were glaring at us and then Elder Zaya appeared and said’’ The two of you better stop before you scare your sons mates away.``
She walked past them and pulled my hand as we walked into the vast living room. Her eyes twinkled as she stated, " Aspen, I love what you have done with the interior deco. I can tell this is all you. "
"Of course " I nodded.
" Cut it out Aspen," Addison snapped.
" Why would you yell ?" Elder Zaya blazed at her.
She seemed shocked for a minute before she responded. " I am sorry. It seems that the pack has been thrown into turmoil since the Battalion came and settled with their brother. Everyone is wondering how they are mates. Addison stated as she pulled Ma to sit with her.
" Turmoil? How is anyone’s business?" My eyes flashed in anger.
" Hunter is still the pack enforcer. How do you expect him to keep his head high with all the gossip?" Ma scolded me.
