Chapter 314: LUNA’S PUPS
BENJAMIN’S POV
I was enraged by the time we arrived at the bar. Someone must have tipped Alistar off as he ran five minutes before we arrived and the hooves on his trail were still hot. We all chased after him, Hunter, Lovita, Everest and I circled the woods and closed all exits in our wolf forms. The enforcers shot on our backs covering all angles and then we finally cornered him.
His black wolf stood tall in the middle of the trees, snarking as his teeth bared at us. Then we watched in shock as it shifted into a dark serpent and in seconds he was airborne.
Lovita and Hunter went after him before he hit the opening Lovita pushed his shifter magic and Hunter as the Alpha subdued the serpent and it fell in the middle of the meadow unconscious.
I trod over and Lovita snarled and then created a buried around the serpent as it writhed and then it shifted back in human form. Gold my wolf was irritated as he clutched at his feet and dragged him back to the bar. The wolves howled as they succeeded in catching him.
The enforcers drove back to the KODA council as instructed by Hunter and they were accompanied by Lovita and Everest. I sent a text to Alpha Conri and then sat in the bar thinking how much Alista had been listening to and exposed us to Maurice Isla.
The door of the pub opened and I smelled Tala’s in a panic before I saw her. I stood up and she rushed over and said " We need to go. Ma is in labor"
" I will drive, ’’ Hunter walked out as Tala and I rushed to the car. We arrived at mansions by the pier and Hunter hunted as the main gate was opened and he drove in like a madman. I was out of the car before he could park the car and into the house where I found Tharn pacing by the entrance of the corridor.
" How is she ?" I heaved.
A large howl that rattled the house was deafening and my body froze. I turned around and Tala looked stricken and then Hunter walked in and pulled her close. Luna howled and I almost lost my mind, feeling Gold my wolf almost losing his mind.
I walked into the bedroom and found the pack doctor holding Luna down while the nurses were at the foot of the bed as there was a blood pool flowing from between her legs. Luna’s short panting breath, and occasional whimpers as her eyes were wild in pain.
