Chapter 309: OFF TO THE SEA NEST
We arrived at the villa and found Elder Zaya and Mrs. Hemming pacing around in the living room.
" What is the matter?" I demanded their eyes widened and they stared at Asheral who stood behind me waiting.
" Haid has gone back to the nest," Elder Zaya announced.
My body was on high alert as I pushed our mating bond and felt the panic in her mind.
" Take me with you, " Asheral pleaded.
I nodded as we rushed to the villa exit by the sea and dove into the water. I was surprised when Asheral shifted into a black serpent but I was too concerned with Haida that I chose to ask her about it later.
We arrived at the next barrier and the notable view of the missing Ricin herb was evident. I pushed my power and the barrier gave way and we swam right in. By the time we landed on the pearl, I never looked back as I moved forward and when I got there Haida was in tears as the eggs hatched.
" Bering, the eggs are hatching " She yelled, and then her eyes widened as she spotted Asheral standing behind me.
" Calm down. Let me introduce you. This is Asheral coral. She is a member of the Sitka Council. And this is Haida, my mate"
" Greetings my Lady" Asheral bowed and Haida just nodded and bit her lips.
" I have no idea what to do in Bering. I felt the power of the eggs rattle my body and I rushed over. The eggs already had their first crack and I was not here. " Haida wailed.
