Chapter 222: KAKA RESURFACED
When I stirred the next day Sayuri was nowhere in sight after our night rendezvous. Dragging myself to the living room, I found the cushion we messed up had been changed and the place was spotless clean.
On the kitchen counter, breakfast was placed and there was even a flower vase with fresh flowers. I smirked and pulled a stool, poured myself coffee, and dug into the food. An hour later, I left the secluded villa, shifted, and went for a run in the Tochigi woods.
The cold mountain air hit Aria’s node and he snarled in annoyance as we raced into the woods.
" Why would you sleep with her ?" Aria demanded and I could feel the betrayal in his voice.
" Don’t you feel relieved? My mind is at ease and Sayuri helped us before. "
" You let her drink your blood " Aria growled as he stopped running and stood definitely.
" I did. And you know how good it felt last night to have someone to share all these. Free your mind off Conri he is mated to Lucian. "
" I want his power," Aria growled.
" You want his power, yes. But he does not want us and hence he will not be our mate" I reasoned with Aria. He only huffed and we took off and went deep in the mountains. Being out here made me feel free and energetic and by the time I went back to the secluded villa, I was more relaxed than ever. Shifting back, I dressed and walked in. The scent of Sayuri hit my nostrils and then I turned to the kitchen counter and was met with the tray of food.
" Does she only know how to feed me while hiding? " I chuckled.
I opted to shower first and then walked barefoot from the room and then stopped when I spotted Kaka feasting on my food.
