CEO'S ROGUE ALPHA

Chapter 221: ONE NIGHT STAND

Two days later, I felt re-energized after the Yakuza doctor prescribed some tonics. My body felt alive, so I left Isamu’s glass villa and headed to the Seclusion villa.

The villa offered me comfort as I strolled around and ended on the cushions, lay back and my mind was filled with thoughts of what had transpired before. Isamu and Zineb were planning their wedding and Kaka was still missing. I wondered if he was okay and knew that he would come to find me once he knew that all was safe.

I stayed away to give them space to spend time together while my mind wandered to Lyal’s memories. I felt sad that he had died but one of the most honorable things he had done was to save Luke’s life. All was not listed with our family and I felt proud of him at the moment.

It was early in the evening Sayuri walked in with the maid as they brought dinner.

" Good evening Lobo, " She purred.

" Why are you here?" I snickered as I stood up and walked to the kitchen counter where the maid placed the tray.

Sayuri was undeterred as she sauntered herself to the counter and pulled a stand. The maid’s eyes widened as she turned back and left the secluded villa.

" I am here to have dinner with you " She smiled and then proceeded to serve the food on the two plates placed on the tray. I watched as she slid off the stool and walked to the cabinet, pulled out two glasses, and then went to the wine counter and picked up two bottles of wine. She took her time as she uncorked the wine bottles and then poured them into the glasses. " Enjoy your dinner," She whispered.

I had no choice but to eat since my stomach growled and the silence in the room was encouraging as Sayuri did not nag and ate in silence.

Once we were done, I picked up the wine bottle and glass walked to the cushion seats, and sat down. Sayuri cleared the counter and I listened to her wash the plates and rearrange the kitchen. Once she was done, she slowly walked to the cushion seats and sat down on the opposite side, placing the wine on the table.

I pretended not to notice her and looked out the window as her eyes bore at me.
