Chapter 216: TARGETED
After dinner we walked hand in hand along the boardwalk overlooking the beach, passing by all the quaint shops and restaurants lining the pathway. The atmosphere was breathtaking and I knew it was because we were comfortable in each other’s company. We walked until we heard a rumble of thunder overhead.
" Time to go back" Alex suggested and soon the sudden splatter of raindrops hit the beach.
"How about a swim?" I teased him and rushed towards the sea.
Alex was faster as he grabbed me and picked me up. My legs went around his torso as we kissed and the rain started falling hard. He ended the kiss and growled " Six ways to Sunday"
" Fucking yes" I responded and licked his bottom lip.
" We are going to be late for tomorrow’s meeting. " He laughed and put me down and we raced to the car. Once inside the car, we kissed again as Alexander drove us home.
" They will wait" I rubbed the raindrops from his face as we got out of the car. The rain hit the ground heavily and we were soaked as we entered the mansion. Alexander carried me to the room and pulled all the wet clothes off him and me. He pulled me into the bathroom, switched on the hot water and we stood under the shower kissing, touching, embracing until it was not enough.
" Marry me Chary" Alexander persisted. " That is the only thing I have ever wished for since I laid my eyes on you"
" Yes," I nodded as he picked me up and walked to the room. I was fucked six ways to Sunday until I saw stars and blacked out.
Alexander woke me up the next day at nine am. We were already late for the meeting and we rushed to the senate office. The members of the senate plus council members of the Sitka court had already arrived.
" You are late," Senator Fabgas spoke up.
