Chapter 215: ALEXANDAR’S MOVE
CHARY’S POV
" Why must I go back with you?" I demanded as my eyes blazed at Alexander.
" You belong in Sitka." Alexander snapped and he bared his teeth at me.
" Haida, please talk some sense into him" I begged Haida.
" No. You go back with Alexander" Tizheruk stated and the way he spoke his words was final.
" We are relocating to Sitka. " Haida smiled warmly at me and I nodded as I felt the sting of tears in my eyes.
The truth was that I had run from him when I left with Haida for Chugach. I knew that it pissed him off but I was tired of the back and forth between us. I knew Alexander was my mate and had discovered it three years back. But because of the politics and the fact that we needed a leader, I held back and kept a distance. But he still found a way to get me to his office and made me a guard. When Lord Tizheruk appeared, Alexander was so excited because this meant that the serpent shifters leader was back and this would relieve him of the burden of leadership.
We left the Freki mansion an hour after the confrontation and I remained silent giving Alexander the cold shoulder. Lucian and Conri remained locked up in their room as Uncle Cadman remained sleeping while Hiada kept checking on him. The jet was ready and waiting as the cars approached the private airstrip and in half an hour we were airborne.
As Alexander conversed with the captain, I entered the changing room, took off the fighting clothes, and then donned the normal kaftan that I loved wearing since I knew we were going back home to Sitka.
I walked back to the cabin, poured myself a drink and then huffed as Alexander closed the door to the private cabin and sat next to me.
" What the hell do you want, Governor?" I gritted my teeth at him and my eyes blazed.
