Chapter 203: FAMILY DINNER
The day before we left for Tokyo, we organized a family dinner and invited everyone over.
Luna and Benjamin, Zeeb and Anisha, Tala and Hunter, Luke and Elanor, Everest and Levy, Keith and Addison, Mrs. Hunter, Elder Zaya, Kaito, Kyeito and Aspen. The Freki mansion was filled with laughter, love, and laughter. But at the back of everyone’s mind, there was tension over the fact that we were going on a do-or-die mission.
Charry, Hiada, and Elanor prepared the meals and I had requested Everest to send a guard up the mountain to get Uncle Cadman to join us. By the time we finished eating, he had not arrived.
" You seem distracted, " Conri leaned down and whispered.
"I am wondering why Uncle Cadman has not arrived. " I whispered back.
" He will be here, don’t worry," Conri assured me.
As we at down in the living room, the women took the couch while we all stood behind them with laughter and making merry when Dolf stirred and pushed the words through our mind link " Cadman is here"
I beamed and then walked to the back door to greet him.
" Where is he going looking so happy? " Godmother asked.
" His chief guest has arrived. " I laughed
Uncle Cadman made the grant entrance as he walked into the living room behind me and all the chatter died down.
