Chapter 152: ISAMU IN ALASKA
ZINEB ARIA’S POV
I was tired of pacing up and down the house, as I waited for Lobo to return. The sun had set and the night air had kicked in, and this worried me. Both Lobo and Jaxton were nowhere to be seen. I called my mole in the Golden Shifter pack office and she did not pick up my calls. Twenty minutes later, she called back and on answering the call, she whispered, "Zineb, do you know how much trouble your brother caused? Boris’s wife is in hospital after he released the Mangy wolves on her. Unfortunately, some witnesses saw him do it"
"What?" I yelled.
"That is not all. The enforcers are out hunting for him. Lucian and Conri were there when he held Gonzalo Carter hostage," she whispered.
"Any more details? " I demanded.
"None as yet. But It seems that Luna and Benjamin are up to something as they called a group of enforcers and sent them out"
" Okay. Thank you for the heads-up. I will call later" I disconnected the call.
I rushed to Lobo’s office, took out the bag with the Tabular crystal, and then rushed to my room and hid it under the bed, in the safe that was on the floor. No one knew that I had installed the safe when I first came to Lobo’s home, and knowing how Lobo’s mind worked, I could not trust anyone.
I left my room and walked to the living room and, much to my surprise, Isamu was seated on the chair, his red eyes glowing, and I staggered back in shock.
"Calm down. I have no interest in attacking you," He smirked.
The scent of dried blood hit my nostrils, and I knew he was hurt.
