Chapter 151: BAD NEWS
It was almost dusk when we arrived at the Freki Mansion. Once we alighted from the car, Lucian turned to the security team after they offloaded the items from the car and wanted to leave.
"Unless you want your head to be bitten off. I suggest you all forget what you saw today," Lucian asserted.
"Yes, sir. "They all bowed before they left.
"You do realize you can be scary at times, lil pup," I chuckled.
"It takes one to know the other, "Lucian responded as he laced his fingers together with mine and then we walked into the Freki mansion and headed for the bunker where all the items had been placed.
"Do you think that we shall find something in all these documents ?" I asked.
"That is what I hope. But Lobo Aria is a sleazy bastard who cares only for power. The KODA council and pack members would say that we were the only witness and he could challenge that. "
"There are members of the pack that are still loyal to Lobo Aria," I noted.
"That is true. And we need to weed them out. Leave no room for them to escape," Lucian added.
We got busy going through the evidence until almost midnight when Conri growled while he held an extensive file. I walked over and peeked on it and there were the original title deeds for the land given to Lupe Due and Duciana due given by their grandmother Ivy Due. She left the land with the Cinnabar Crystal to them.
"No wonder Lobo wanted to control both Lupe and Duciana," I growled.
