The guards from Sikta reported that Hunter was distraught and went crazy walking in the rain as he searched for his family. I was still not sure if he was pretending as Boris and Keith walked into my office late in the evening.
"What do you have for me?" I demanded.
"Nothing. We have used all our contacts, but we came out empty "Keith reported.
"Someone took Hunter’s family. For now, I believe he was not involved "I retorted.
"What about the BoryoKudan? They could have kidnapped his family to get him to tell them where you hid the gold "
"We need to speed up the access to the mines as everyone is worried about Hunter’s family, "Keith stated.
"Shit" Boris cursed.
"What is it? "I demanded.
Amidst all the issues, I forgot to bring you up to speed. Conri Dolf donated all the land that surrounds the mines with the gold to the pack," Boris informed us.
