Chapter 124: HAIDA’S REVELATIONS
A blush rose on my neck as Elder Zaya’s eyes bore into mine when we got to the living room. I could sense the suppressed laughter from Conri and Lucian, which I chose to ignore and then there was Tala whose grin was from ear to ear.
"Where is Luke?’ I asked.
"He went shopping with the maids. I sent some of the bodyguards with him" Elder Zaya explained.
I chose to address Tala and ignore them as Haida walked to sit next to Elder Zaya.
"Did you sleep well?" Elder Zaya asked.
’ "Of Course. I slept next to my mate hence sleep took over. It has been years since I had sound sleep "Haida responded and both Conri and Lucian burst out laughing.
"Stop it you two," Elder Zaya scolded them.
"Sorry Godmother "Conri was the one who apologized while Lucian hid behind his back as he cracked up.
"Bunch of fools" I cursed and then walked to Tala and said "Hunter is fine. His family is safe. I left them at a secured Villa in Canada. No one will be able to find them. Though Lobo is going ballistic there is nothing much he can do"
"Is this Hunters’ mate? She is as beautiful as you described her" Haida interjected.
"What?" Tala blushed. "You think I’m beautiful?" she winked at me.
