Chapter 85: FEARLESS
LUCIAN’S POV
We arrived at the KODA council almost midday the next day because Hunter had sent his enforcers to get the statement of what had happened during the time Duciana kidnapped and drugged me. Conri’s growl from the corner of the room helped as they hurriedly asked questions and disappeared after an hour. After they left, we had a meeting with Zeeb, Anisha, and Tala about the office and the construction site. We agreed that Zeeb would take over the construction site while Anisha and Tala would run Due Corporation until everything settled down.
I tasked Zeeb to investigate the shipments to Japan that Lobo Aria was making. I know that Tizheruk was one step ahead of us, but it would not hurt to have a second eye following Lobo.
The KODA council members Elder Zaya, Ralph Isla, Luna Elijah, and Benjamin were already present at the hall as Conri and I walked in, accompanied by Everest.
"Greetings KODA council members. "I piped while Conri refused to speak.
"Should I say welcome?" Boris Carter snickered.
"You don’t need to speak, Boris," Benjamin responded.
"Where is Alpha Lobo?" Luna impatiently asked Boris.
"He is on his way" Boris made an excuse for him.
"Our work is not to wait for him, "Luna snapped at him, forcing Boris to remain mute.
We sat at the corner in waiting and soon heard the growls of Hunter’s wolves and knew that Alpha Lobo had arrived. The door of the council hall opened and Lobo Aria walked in, accompanied by Hunter.
