"Rex is my ex," I stuttered in embarrassment.
"What?" Conri’s eyes widened.
"I will explain later" My eyes pleaded with him but I could already see the change in demeanor and sensed his anger.
He stood up and announced, "I am going for a run," and he left the room.
"Lucian, that is what Alpha Lobo wants, "Tala said. "You need to go after him and calm him down. "
"Let him be. He will be back when he cools off, "I responded, knowing well that I should have called him the minute Rex left my office.
"We are leaving Lucian, "Zeeb stood up.
"Take the security team with you. I would advise that Anisha and Tala spend the night at your apartment," I suggested.
