Chapter 87: Putting on Airs
Yang Fan, with his unyielding stance, completely flustered the three men.
"Two thousand yuan, is it? Fine, I’ll pay you!" the square-faced man suddenly rushed over and shouted, "But you must let me watch you delete the video from your phone."
Yang Fan shook his head. "What I just quoted was the minimum price. Did you really take it as the standard? Is your face that big?"
"Name your price!" the square-faced man yelled desperately, his narrow eyes scanning Yang Fan up and down.
It seemed he was weighing whether it was more worth it to beat up Yang Fan or to pay him.
"Five thousand," Yang Fan stated unapologetically.
"Are you robbing me?" the square-faced man burst out in anger.
Yang Fan, with a solemn face, shouted, "Hey, don’t throw accusations around, I’m not robbing anyone. My intention was that you shouldn’t hold back, go ahead and hit me if you must, ideally smash my phone too. Honestly, I’ve been using this phone for a while and I’ve been thinking about switching it."
"But it was you who said you wanted to pay. I was initially reluctant. My idea was it would be best if we went to the police station to settle this, make the proceedings completely reasonable and legal."
The square-faced man stared intensely at Yang Fan, his mouth twitching fiercely, "Fine, five thousand, is it? I’ll pay you!"
"In cash!" Yang Fan said indifferently, "Just a reminder, if you’re going to pay, pay up squarely. Don’t be like the little brat I met last time who tried to counter me. Now he’s living comfortably inside, though sewing might be a bit tiring."
