"What?! Mrs. Daniel is no longer in her previous hotel? Couldn’t locate her?!"
Mr. Smith’s anger, seething throughout the day, exploded like a volcano, each strand of his hair filled with frenzy and rage.
"Why couldn’t anyone locate her, she’s just a babysitter, how hard could it be?
Didn’t we log all her contact details when she first started working?
What about her phone number, emergency contacts? Place of residence? Are you all just eating for free?"
The people below him were frightened to silence by his shouting.
Most of the time, Mr. Smith could be considered a reasonable and generous employer to those under him, with the salary quite high as well.
However, the current situation has grown out of hand.
If they can’t locate Mrs. Daniel, Mr. Smith’s reputation will be ruined.
Infidelity certainly isn’t uncommon in these circles, but no instance has ever caused this horrific impact — especially having an affair with his elderly nanny, bringing up their illegitimate daughter for eighteen years under his roof.
Hence, it’s understandable why Mr. Smith is in such a fit of rage that his blood pressure is skyrocketing.
