Chapter 113: Why can’t she see that I love her?
Over at the Smith’s.
Mr. Lorry drove Bianca back home, saying to her, "You should not go to school for now.
First, the paternity test requires a few days, and secondly, the school rumors could harm you." Of course, the main reason is the former.
Right now, the entire Smith family was thrown into chaos.
Not to mention the Smith family, even Mr. Lorry could not imagine if he was in their shoes: raising a daughter for over a decade, giving her the best of everything, only to discover in the end that she is the child of the woman who abandoned their biological daughter.
What would they do? Upon hearing Mr. Lorry’s words, Bianca bit her lower lip hard without saying a word.
She sat in the passenger seat, her vision dark throughout, with her heart pounding wildly and blood rushing to her head. On one hand, she couldn’t believe that Mrs. Daniel was her biological mother.
But on the other hand, recalling how exceptionally good Mrs. Daniel had always been to her, fear rose within her— If she truly was Mrs. Daniel’s child, what would the Smith family do to her? Clearly, she was innocent, her parents and older brother wouldn’t take their anger out on her.
However, Mrs.Daniel had changed babies years ago and came to the Smith’s under a fake identity as a nanny.
That’s definitely a criminal act! Would the Smith’s let Mrs. Daniel get away with it? Regardless of Mrs.Daniel’s fate, Mrs.Daniel deserved it.
But once the DNA test results were out, would Smith’s still treat her as their biological child? Of course not! Bianca envisioned the bleak future.
