Chapter 480: King vs King (I)
Shock and horror appeared in the eyes of all the humans as they saw the mangled body of Overlord lying on the ground. Golden blood flowed from the Divine Avatar’s mouth, the damage so immense he could not even stand. A sense of utter hopelessness filled the hearts of everybody as they could not understand how the battle they were about to win—the war that would end the alien invader—had come to this.
Freya, Ouroborus, and Jormungandr felt utter impotence as they watched the Leviathan King’s cold and murderous eyes focus on the defeated Divine Avatar before dashing forward. His massive fist raged through the air with the power to shatter all things, ending the life of Overlord and marking the end of the world of man.
"ZNNNNNNNNNNNN!"
Yet just as the monster was about to land his final blow on the A.I. Chip Clone, a laser beam burst through the air, crashing into the Leviathan King and blasting the monster, pushing it thousands of meters back, making it crash into the obsidian obelisk. Silence reigned as the soldiers, whose hearts were on the brink of despair, saw that laser. As they turned their eyes to the origin, they saw none other than the Xaos King.
Vlad stood tall, his body radiating such overwhelming power that the ground beneath his feet kept cracking. Shockwaves emerged from inside his body, pushing the air away. Most soldiers did not know the source of the sonic waves, but powerful ones like the Viking princess and the Sky Seed Depravitas could see that the origin was his heart, beating with so much power and speed that it generated shockwaves!
Vlad could see how all eyes were focused on him, but his only goal was the monster that had sent him flying away a minute ago. He raised his broken arm, the bones fusing back in place and as good as new. His entire body surged with what could only be described as overwhelming wrathful energy, so intense and powerful it pushed his Depravita abilities like Burning Eyes of Fury to their peak, removing their limiter and increasing their destructive might.
"ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRR!"
Vlad did not have time to analyze his power as a ferocious roar from the Leviathan King echoed across the battlefield. The monster glared at the burning wounds left by the laser beam on its chest, and its rage exploded. It was built to be the ultimate weapon and could not endure any form of challenge, much less being wounded!
"Hmph!" Vlad only sneered as he saw the rage of the monster, clenching his fist with all his strength as massive amounts of lightning and fire clashed upon them.
