Chapter 140: Killing the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental
Vlad focused on the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental, which could not believe what was happening, and his smile only grew colder. His right arm was crippled by the scorching damage of the lightning maelstrom, and he had suffered extensive damage on the right side of his body along with his internal organ, but his legs still worked and his left arm was full of strength.

While a Depravita gained power through chaotic and evil physical energy, one of the core aspects of their nature was their formidable mental fortitude. Unlike demons and devils, they were meant to rise above those feelings and emotions, not be slaves to them.
Immediately after killing the elemental, Vlad fell to the ground. That last dash and attack were impressive, but he had used all his strength in it, and now he needed to take care of the severe damage his body had sustained.

Damage to the life force was something extremely hard to fix and could hinder his potential and future growth, so he did not dare to take it lightly.
