Chapter 49: Communication and Answers
The Observer was anxious... The reason for this anxiety was that winter had already begun, and the survivors on the extermination list had disappeared again...
While the two targets from the capital of Jyera had never even been found... The only one whose current location was revealed was inside a bunker, and one of Tulliver’s men had been sent to infiltrate his hideout, but once again, they had failed in the task.
"This is the Observer, reporting from the city of Kaelor."
"Damn it! That fat Deputy Mayor tricked us again... After I handed over the many level 2 crystals he requested, he still refused to let me enter the bunker."
"Did he ask for anything else?"
"No. He simply deceived me, he never planned to let me in..."
"Alright, stay in the surroundings for now, and find people who might try to enter in your place... I suspect he’ll let someone in if the survivor is a woman..."
The Observer ended the call and this time contacted Tulliver’s other subordinate, who was in the capital of Jyera, Aethoria.
"This is the Observer, reporting from the city of Aethoria."
