"You, what did you just do?" Acantha turned to Lady Yarin as she was looking at her like she was horrified at what she just witnessed.
Acantha raises her brows at her; she already knew that the two women were making another story to paint her as bad.
What rumors is she going to hear this time?
"You saved us, Lady Acantha," The emperor said as he acknowledged what she did.
"Your highness, there’s more." Acantha looked at where Gineo was as he was out of the barrier to try to stop the monster from infiltrating the barrier.
"Where are you going, Dion?" the empress asked the emperor worriedly as she was trying to stop him from going to where Gineo was trying to fight off the monster.
"I am going to help Gineo," The emperor said as he looked at his wife’s hand that was stopping him from moving. "Let me go, Helen," He said as he tried to shrug off his wife’s hand.
"Why not let that girl do all the job? as you all know, she was very powerful, and besides, everything that was going on in our empire started when she got her power," The empress said as she looked at her.
"Aren’t you going to save us all, Lady Acantha?" Acantha looked at her and she saw that the empress was glaring at her.
"Yes, that’s right. Lady Acantha could protect us, Right? Why don’t you go and fight all those monsters there?" Lady Yarin said as she agreed with the empress as she even made her eyes wider just to convince the other.
"Lady Yarin was right. Why don’t you do your best at protecting us here so you could be useful to us?" The empress said as she nodded at what the lady said and Acantha even saw the latter smirk at her.
