Chapter 22: THE TALK....
The duke was giving Helion some death glares as he was still try to find a reason why he was here.
"Can we all call some healer, please?" Acantha was the one to break the silence as it seems like the two men still trying to have some death glare contest.
The duke and Helion broke their stares from each other, I saw the Duke call someone from his side which I didn’t noticed where hiding from the corner.
The healer went inside and he tended Mildred’s bruises, but the Duke and Helion was still eyeing each other.
"Father, " I said as I tried to get the duke’s attention away from Helion.
The duke looks at me and now I can see the worry on his face as he saw me, "You should’ve rest, Aki" He said as he looks at Mildred behind me, " Mildred bring Acantha to her room she looks pale, let her have some rest," The Duke said to Mildred who obeyed the duke as she also can see that the lady exhausted as she can hear her hard breathe.
"B-but-" Acantha she didn’t got to finished what she was about to say when Mildred pulled her out from the room.
She was worried to left the two alone as she can sense the tension between them, but Acantha knew that the duke won’t let her if she insists and besides she was having some hard breath, this was sucks, if she was not unconscious, she was not feeling well, she can’t even do anything without her health being on her way .
She sighed as Mildred was holding her on her hand like she was some kind of a kid who will be lost if no one will hold her.

Helion sit on the sofa as soon as Acantha and Mildred left the room, he knew that the Duke was only worried about his daughter, and besides he too would want her to rest as he can feel that she was on her edge of losing all her energy.
