Chapter 18: The Bird, and The letter
Acantha woke up to see the who was looking at her with so much worries on his face, she stiffened a little bit when he hugged her.
"I’m glad that you’re awake now, Aki." He said to her as he kissed her on top of her head.
She looked around and saw that she was already in her room in the duchy which is odd as the last time she knew was she was at the party.
Acantha’s eyes widen when she realized about the party, flashes of explosion, and man wearing a mask who bind her and make her float to the air while feeling electrified by the bind he put her.
She even saw how Helion defeated the man who was confident on killing them.
"What h-happened?" She said in a hoarse voice as she feel dry on her throat.
The duke just looked at her as he give her a glass of water, which she accepted as she was really feeling dry on her throat.
"You were asleep for a week," Acantha looked at the man who answered her as she didn’t recognized who he was. " I am Hernand Gioztin, I am your healer," He said as he looked at me as wave his hands and there I saw some lights touching my skin.
"Weeks?!" I said in surprise as I didn’t know that I sleep for that long time.
"As far as I can see you still need days to recover and you should avoid going out as your body was still week because of the dark magic that you were exposed to," He said as he looked at me again and looked at my father who was just quiet at that time.
"Dark magic?!" I exclaimed as I didn’t knew that the man was using a dark magic, maybe that’s why he is producing some black smokes.
