As Neo and the others walked away, Kyedae moved to Neo's side and said, "Neo, thanks for the medicine you gave me. My doctor just sent me a message saying that all the lab tests we did are normal: the MRI, blood test, and CBC."
Earlier that morning, Kyedae and Tenz had visited the doctor for her health issues. She was required to go to the hospital for lab tests. Last night, she took the medicine Neo gave her. After the initial tests, the doctor was puzzled because all the signs of cancer had vanished from Kyedae's body. He had her undergo more extensive tests, like the MRI. Due to the unusual results, the doctor expedited the process to understand what had happened. As for Kyedae, the doctor just said he would message her later with the results.
When Neo called them for a meeting, the doctor had already messaged Kyedae that all the symptoms were gone, as if she had never received treatment or had cancer at all. He asked Kyedae to come in for a follow-up appointment the next day to discuss more. Kyedae didn't hesitate to agree, overwhelmed with joy.
"It worked, Kyedae? Congratulations!" Rae, who was also listening to the conversation, said happily.
