The events here were too bizarre. An unknown powerhouse among humans, an unknown beast god, an unknown plant god... Regardless, Lu Ran’s group posed a threat to the elemental gods’ rule.
On a species level, they endangered the elemental gods’ dominance over the world. The Fire God, the Rock God, the Grass God, the Wind God... one by one, the gods descended upon the Ice Nation.
“Are you guys here to laugh at my misfortune?” The Ice Goddess’s voice was cold as she addressed the gathering gods.
The Water Goddess smiled. “Old friend, don’t be so cold. We’re here to help. Where are those intruders? Did they escape? Which direction?”
The Ice Goddess had no answer. Initially, she could sense their presence, but at some point, she’d lost track of Lu Ran’s group entirely.
“I detected nothing unusual on my way here.”
“Same.”
“Likewise.”
The elemental gods all reported no traces of Lu Ran, baffled by the complete absence of his aura.
The Ice Goddess’s heart had already frozen over. Even if Lu Ran and Hel could flee, she had a plan. Her gaze fell upon the resistance forces within the Ice Nation.
“If you want to help, follow my lead. That Mythical elementalist traveled across nations. Spread the word and assist me. If they don’t show themselves willingly, we’ll slaughter everyone they’ve ever interacted with! Given human nature, they’ll have to appear.”
“Agreed!” The elemental gods had no objections.
